NEW SOLO PERFORMANCE: 6821 by Harriet Gruender

Mon 20th May 2019 | 4.30pm | Lincoln Performing Arts Centre

A brand new solo performance, devised and created by Harriet Gruender (L3 BA Drama)

It’s a show. It’s a solo show. For my degree showcase.
And it’s a story about six thousand, eight hundred and twenty one days of memories.
It’s about the way some memories are just a feeling, like an old couch that learned you exactly.
It’s about couches and sofas and how they tell a story.
It’s about trains and poems and a dog called Jess and it’s about yellow roses.
It’s about things we hold on to and things we lose and it’s about why you give a couch a name.
It’s about the six thousand, eight hundred and twenty first day, and it’s about working out what happened next.
