Twelfth Night Poster

Tue 3rd Dec 2019 | 7.30pm | Lincoln Performing Arts Centre

A re-working of Shakespeare’s cross-dressing comedy full of wise fools, foolish hypocrites and drunken idiots.

Cakes, Ale, Mischief, Madness and Mis-gendering in a play where near enough everyone loves everyone!

This immersive performance of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, mashes Ye Olde English with pop culture to take you on a wild journey in Illyria with lots of cakes, and lots of Ale.

Second-year Drama and Theatre students, alongside Dr James Hudson, have dramaturged Twelfth Night for a 21st-century audience as part of their Staging the Early Modern Module so expect the unexpected, nothing is too crazy (except Malvolio).
