BA Drama & Theatre Ensemble Show 2021: Where the light gets in…

Where the light gets in…

A rare 'ring of fire' solar eclipse. The sun appears as a golden ring in a flame-oramge sky. Clouds gather overhead.

A one hour year. A lifetime.

Chaos and choreography. Rituals and rites. A golden line to fix what’s broken, and a time to remember what’s lost. We know that things aren’t beautiful because they’re permanent…

Time does its devouring – it’s your turn, then it’s mine.

Inspired by the poetic choreography of Pina Bausch, the chaotic rules of Reckless Sleepers, and by the one-year long performances of Tehching Hseih, Where the light gets in… has been written and devised by a company of performers coming together for the very first time to celebrate change and reflect on turbulent times.

Devised and Performed by Level 1 BA Drama & Theatre Students
